From Orlando-
Take I-4 East to Exit 87 (Fairbanks Ave.) East. Travel for about 8 Miles. You will see Rollins College on your Right and just past the main building, At the light, turn Right onto Ollie Ave. Park in the designated parking area to avoid a ticket.

From Orlando-
Take S.R 528 East (Toll) to Exit 10 (S.R. 417 North (Toll)). Take to Exit 41 (Red Bug Lake Rd.) East.
Red Bug Lake Rd. turns into Mitchell Hammock Rd.. The road will dead end at Lockwood Blvd. Turn left on Lockwood. Then turn Right at the next light, (S.R. 419 go about 1 Mile down. Just over the bridge turn left at Willingham Rd. Park on the left.

Merritt Island Nature Tour
From Orlando-
Take S.R. 528 to I-95 North. Get off on Exit 220 (S.R. 406/Garden St.) go East.
Garden St. turns into A. Max Brewer Memorial Parkway when you pass Highway 1.
Once we have entered the State Park continue over the bridge, about 1 mile past the bridge, turn left towards Blackpoint Wildlife Drive. Continue straight on paved rd. (Do not turn onto dirt road) take this road until it ends and turn left. Go about 5 miles, once you have driven over the bridge you will see a sign for the manatee observation deck on your right. Turn left onto the unmarked dirt road across from the Manatee Observation Deck, follow the road as it curves to the left running parallel to the road and then veer right and drive along the canal until you see the kayak trailer about halfway down.
North Entrance-
From I-95 take the CR-5A exit, EXIT 231, toward OAK HILL/SCOTTSMOOR East.. It will dead end at Highway 1. Turn left (North) Go about 5 Miles and you will see a brown sign for Merritt Island on the right. Make a sharp Right at Kennedy Parkway (County Highway 3) You are now on the refuge. Drive about 8 miles until you see the sign for the Manatee Observation Deck (Do Not drive over the bridge) Turn right onto the unmarked dirt road across from the Manatee Observation Deck, follow the road as it curves to the left running parallel to the road and then veer right and drive along the canal until you see the kayak trailer about halfway down.
